You might think that you can load it, play a couple of battles and switch to something else. But you have to learn the map, to master it. You have to remember who sells units you use to know or will use later to fill up your ranks regularly. You have to remember where have you seen an item that will work great with your new army or other artifacts. You have to remember where have you left some enemy armies that were too dangerous at the time. Eventually, you unlock dozens of maps and even if you completely clear the map you might still need to return to buy troops or items or something else. It's a great game if you're ready to play to master it.
